We went through a long rebuilding stage. We had our ups and downs. We had to weed out a lot of people that didn't meet our expectations.
But as I was talking in chat earlier today, I realized that our group is really coming along. I really like the people in our clan, old and new. Our new guys really fit into what our clan is really about.
We have done a really good job of not lowering our standards. The members can't just be good in war, but be assholes in chat. They also can't be great in chat, but useless in war. We have a really good mix of people that are good in war, or if they're not, they listen and get better, and also they're fun to talk to in chat.
We have been really picky about who we keep around, and it's really paying off.

If we keep it up, we'll win a lot of wars, and more importantly; we'll have a lot of fun doing it.

I really think (as a new person) that I and my pals have found a gem of a clan. The rules have taken some getting used to but in reality, they only help us win, so they are worth getting used to. Being picky, in a clan worth validating pickiness, is a must. If a douchebag enters, kick em out. I would rather have a bad war-mate than a chat cancer, bc the war mate can be taught. Luckily, i haven't seen one chat-tard since i've been on. Kudos to the leaders for that. A few of us (the most recent additions} were in a clan months back and there was a dude, lets call him "Satan" that scared the most awesome people away (including myself). I don't see that happening here, which rocks! All in all, I feel very lucky to be a part of this group!
