I have a feeling it will be a glorified wallbreaker... A HUGE fiery AWESOME wooly mammoth and she will smash things with her tusks and storm through bases. Like a wall breaker golem but with massive damage points like pekka. Yep. That is it. that would be so OP haha

The Lava Hound’s attack SUCKS on Clash of Clans!
10 damage per second? That’s almost as bad as a level 1 Barbarian, the cheapest, flimsiest troop in the game!
We knew the Lava Hound’s attack was going to be weak, but he’s more like a lukewarm Chihuahua! While he likes to attack air defence first, to take out level 5 rockets for example he would need a full 99 seconds to gnaw away at it, which in this game is half a war.
Of course, the Lava Hound’s job isn’t really attacking, but distracting air defence and soaking up damage from rockets and air mines.
With a whopping 5,700 hit points at level 1, and costing slightly less that its adlibbing equivalent Golem at 390 dark elixir, it can eat up 30 direct hits from a level 5 air defence, or can even safely detonate all three level 1 seeking air mines to clear a path for other air troops.
We can now see from the stats that this will be the only way to use the Lava Hound: drop a load of Balloons, Minions or Dragons – or a combination of the three – and watch the rearguard decimate bases while the flying tank absorbs all unwanted attention.
At speed 20, it moves much faster than the cumbersome Dragon or Balloon, so no worries about them overtaking it en route to the rockest either.
One of the interesting reveals is the strength of the Lava Pup.

One of the interesting reveals is the strength of the Lava Pup.
Like the Golem, when the Lava Hound is (eventually) destroyed it splits into smaller versions of itself. But unlike the Golem, which splits into two golemites with one-fifth of its attacking power, Lava Pups are actually stronger than the Lava Hound itself – almost four times stronger in fact.
The Lava Pups actually have the exact same stats as Minions: 35 damage per second, 55 hit points and a blistering 32 movement speed – the fastest of any troop. They disperse rapidly in every direction and attack the nearest target at hand: that’s eight minions dropped in the middle of a base for free.
Eight Minions who have been shielded from air defence the whole way there. Eight becomes ten at level 2, and 12 at level 3. While the Golemites are the last sting of a dying wasp, the Lava Pups are the hornets’ nest bursting open.
While many of the new Clash of Clan updates were expected, Clashers found a few little extra surprises this morning. Best of all, Hero recovery times have been cut in half: no more sitting around for at least an hour waiting for your Barbarian King or Archer Queen to sleep it off after a raid.
The underused Valkyrie training time has been reduced to just eight minutes, so you may see more of her axe smashing two of your buildings at a time.
Unfortunately the ‘Wizard event’ is now over, so half-price easy-bake Wizards are no longer on the menu.

This will reduce the Lava Hounds health significantly. So let’s put the key facts together to make your base Lava Hound proof:
1.Put your Air Defenses in a more central layer 2.Set one of your Inferno Towers to single-mode 3.Place your Seeking Air Mines next to your Air Defenses
